Kate Moss is not scared. Not only is she a 37 year old woman that still looks fierce in hot pants and fetish boots, but she recently poo pooed global ‘No Smoking Day’ by lighting up on the catwalk whilst strutting her stuff for Louis Vuitton.
The claws have been out for Kate since the photos have hit the web, even the lovely Kirstie Allsopp has had a go on Twitter asking: “Is Kate Moss learning impaired? Smoking kills women, endangers children's health & drains the NHS #notbignotclever #respectyourinfluence”. Big error Kate – looks like you’re off the list for ‘Kirstie and Phils Perfect Christmas’ party this year.
At least young women can always look up to a more wholseome ‘Kate’ when it comes to fashion – apparently Kate Middleton did so much in her Burberry trench in Ireland this week, the style "has since sold out in Middleton-esque sizes (6, 8 and 10) on Burberry's website," according to the Independent. With a style so ‘classic’ (read: easy to emulate) no doubt we will see Ms Middleton lookalikes swanning all over Chelsea in no time.
In yet another entrepreneurial move, the clever Lily Allen has teamed up with PlayStation Move for a new video about fashion through the ages. The singer launched her fashion store Lucy in Disguise last year and has teamed up with the PlayStation 3 interactive game, so visitors to the London shop can delve into Lucy’s wardrobe and hire or purchase vintage clothing from the 20s all the way through to the 90s.
The short film which was produced and styled by Lily Allen sees Lucy getting ready for a night out, being drawn into her closet and taken on a magical fashion time tour. Alongside the film will be a special motion sensitive light window at the store commissioned by PlayStation Move and designed by Deniz Kurtel , who was inspired by the idea of movement in fashion.
Over in the world of Beauty, it seems one famous face is not enough for Lancôme, who has just announced Kate Winslet will be the face of their new Absolu Nu lipstick. You can see Kate Winslet sexily rolling around on the floor clad in a bedsheet here:
Have a great weekend,
